I thought while writing this section - what better way for a photographer to talk about who they are then share a few photos?

Those 5 photos show a whole lot of what my life looks like right now. Lots of time with my wife Elyse and our big ball of floof Albie. Adventuring whenever we can, or enjoying time spent at home in our cottage in Leura.

Not pictured in there is time spent with Fam & Friends - I'm a sucker for a long lunch at an epic restaurant, or equally fresh oysters from the seafood shop in Narooma eaten by the coast somewhere. I'm also a huge fan of spending time out in the bush, and taking photos of where I get to. I've had 3 exhibitions as a landscape artist, and getting out to take photos in our beautiful backyard really inspires me.

Below is one of my favourite works: Lake Eyre, 2025.

The most important thing about wedding photography is that your experience of the day comes first.

It never gets past me that I'm lucky enough to call being a wedding photographer my job. I love the whole process, starting with meeting new couples when they inquire, hearing about what's important to them about their day and helping make that happen.

The really special part is then being a part of the day and documenting all the moments that only happen at weddings. Parents telling you how much they love you and are proud of you, friends tearing up. Grandparents commandeering patient transports between hospitals to crash wedding receptions (yep, that's happened). It really is a special day.

And I think that's really important to communicate, because it helps you understand how I got to the core value behind how I photograph weddings - which is;

About me.
