Fun.

Is the one quick word I can use to sum up the day I had documenting Natasha and Lachlan's wedding!

These two had planned a bit of a different day - a morning ceremony at 9:30 followed by a lunchtime reception at the beautiful Public Dining Room in Balmoral. This was my first wedding that I photographed down at the Public Dining Room - and wow, I absolutely loved it! So much so that after the wedding, they approached me to be a preferred supplier there - how good! I've already shot another beautiful elopement down there since, and can't wait to shoot more.

Anyway... back to these two lovers... I absolutely loved the chemistry these guys had. It was electric! So much love flowing between them, which I loved capturing. In our pre-wedding meetings these two were a bit concerned that they were doing their location shots in the midday sun - so I had suggested that when their reception finished at 5pm we could sneak out to get some sunset photos on the water - which they loved the idea of! It was a great way to finish the day off - and after a beautiful afternoon with their closest friends and family and some outpouring of emotions with the speeches, there was a real energy between these two that came out as the sun went down - and I had a ball capturing that for them!

Here's what Natasha and Lachlan had to say when they had a look through their gallery for the first time;

"Happy tears all around! So many special moments captured in such a personal way. They are everything we wanted. Thank you so much!"
